As the day go we hear about new wireless technologies like the wireless charging. Now the virtual Bluetooth keyboard (laser). The wireless charging indeed showed that it can be a replacement to the physical wire cable charging. But can the laser virtual keyboard be a good alternative to the physical keyboard? Let’s find out in the review.
The virtual keyboard has a very simple design, there only a power button and a micros USB charging port on the right side. The device is very compact, portable and has a light weight. Its portability makes it easy to be placed in the pocket of one’s trousers.
When the virtual keyboard is turned on it projects a virtual keyboard on your desk, then the typing is done directly on your desk.
There are no physical keys but it’s almost like typing on your android device. The feedback sound is a bit loud for every key press. But the sound volume can be increased and decreased by pressing Fn + → to increase and Fn + ← to decrease.
Aside using the Bluetooth laser keyboard on your computer there a couple of other devices you can connect the Bluetooth device to use as a key board like your Smartphone, laptops and the Mac book. The connection via Bluetooth is fast and very easy.
However, the typing speed and accuracy are not really impressive; the virtual keyboard is better used with 6 fingers unlike the physical keyboard where you can use all ten fingers to type.
The laser virtual keyboard can be used as a mouse. This feature works a lot better than the keyboard aspect of this device you use one finger to control the cursor, tap on your desk to click, or use 2 fingers to drag and scroll.
The Bluetooth device is powered by a 500mAh rechargeable battery, which can run for about 1.5 hours and it can switch off when being Idle.
Overall, the lasers keyboard has a lot of room improvement. I don’t think it could replace physical keyboard anytime soon. But a lot of people will love products like this one.
